Dr. Joseph Zebrowitz is Co-founder of Versalus Health. Dr. Zebrowitz led the Versalus team in the development of an innovative approach to Two-Midnight Rule compliance and managed care utilization review processes. Prior to Versalus Health, Dr. Zebrowitz was Managing Partner of Devon Hill Capital Partners (DHCP), a diversified healthcare investment firm.
Before DHCP, Dr. Zebrowitz spent 12 years at Executive Health Resources (EHR) as Executive Vice President where he was a trusted advisor to thousands of hospitals, established the standard for medical necessity reviews, and led the team that coined the term “physician advisor.” Dr. Zebrowitz’s career focus has been on assisting hospitals in gaining an accurate picture of their compliance profiles through analysis and audit while implementing lasting solutions to provide enduring compliance and visibility. Before joining EHR, Dr. Zebrowitz co-founded Concuity, Inc. (formerly eHealthContracts), now part of the Advisory Board Company where he served as its Vice President of Strategic Alliances.
Dr. Zebrowitz received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He attended the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
