Senior Operations Coordinator

Position Type: Full Time: Tuesday- Saturday 8 am to 5 pm or Tuesday- Saturday  1 pm – 10 pm 

Office Location: Newtown Square, Pa (Onsite Required)

Job Description and Responsibility:

  • Interact with hospital clients over the phone and electronically
  • Transcribe information into required electronic format and check completed work for accuracy
  • Training and mentoring new hires
  • Monitor, report, and analyze operational performance
  • Assisting team members with questions and providing education when needed
  • Cross trained on various functions within the department such as case entry support, Peer to Peer support and appeals support
  • Other responsibilities as requested by management

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with physicians
  • Prior knowledge of accessing hospital EMR’s preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • Maneuver between multiple screen

Physical Requirements:

May be expected to sit at a desk for long hours. Repetitive movement of hands and fingers – typing and/or writing. Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Ability to reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
